The project “EM - Evaluating Energy Efficiency Measurements” is implemented in the frame of
Interreg IPA CBC Programme CCI 2014 TC 16 I5CB 009
Priority axis 2: Protection of Environment – Transportation
Specific Objective 2.1: Upgrade public infrastructure to improve road travel time,
safe border crossing and promote energy efficiency towards green transport.
The project has a total duration of 20 months.
Its total budget amounts to € 1,432,375.80 and is co-funded by 85% of European Union and 15% of national resources from the countries participating in the Programme.
The overall objective of the project is Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the public buildings run by the local government units in the border region

The project consists of two components:
1. Undertaking pilot reconstruction measures of public buildings (kindergarten, schools and municipality building) towards improving their Energy Efficiency
2. Strengthening capacities of employees in public buildings (municipal administration, employees of education centers and kindergarten) in designing and implementing Energy Efficiency measures

Energy efficiency interventions in Provatas Lyceum in the Municipality of Florina
Energy efficiency interventions in the Primary school in Radovish
Energy efficiency interventions in the Music school in the Municipality of Florina
Interventions in public buildings will have immediate benefits in terms of cost savings
SEAP for Municipality of Valandovo elaborated
Greenhouse emissions inventory for Valandovo prepared
Assessments of current status of energy efficiency pilot public buildings elaboratedTraining days delivered for municipality administration, employees in the education sector
Creation of E-learning platform to becombined with smart energy meters installed in each of the pilot buildings
